The company is part of the Internode infrastructure group, which also operates nodes in Finland and Sweden. This gives them genuine European infrastructure rather than a US company tacking on an Amsterdam location.

The approach is refreshingly straightforward: predictable pricing, clear specs, no surprises. For developers and businesses that know what they need and want to pay a fair price without enterprise complexity, Time4VPS fills a specific niche.

Performance

We tested the "VPS 4" plan: 4 vCPU, 8GB RAM, 80GB SSD, 200Mbps network.

The performance is honest — you get what the plan promises. The 200Mbps network isn't oversubscribed (unlike some budget hosts), and the disk I/O is consistent. Under load, the CPU performance held steady at expected levels for the EPYC-based hosts.

Time4VPS operates three European datacenters:

For European audiences, these locations are well-positioned. There is no US presence, which matters if your audience is transatlantic.

The Vilnius datacenter is their primary facility and offers the best price/performance. Helsinki is useful for Nordic-focused projects.

Pricing

Time4VPS pricing is notably transparent — no introductory/renewal pricing games:

Prices include all taxes (EU VAT). No hidden setup fees. Annual billing gives a small discount (roughly 10%) but is not required.

Bandwidth overage: €0.50 per GB beyond the plan limit, which is reasonable.

The Good

KVM virtualization. Full kernel access, custom kernel compilation, and nested virtualization support. This matters for containers, security tools, and any workload requiring kernel-level access.

Honest performance. The 200Mbps network actually delivers 198Mbps, not burst-at-900Mbps-then-throttle. For applications where consistent bandwidth matters, this predictability is valuable.

No renewal surprises. The price you see is the price you pay. Annual or monthly, the rate is the same. This is rare in the budget VPS market.

European GDPR compliance. Being a Lithuanian company with Lithuanian datacenters means straightforward GDPR compliance for EU-based projects. No questions about data sovereignty.

The Not-So-Good

No US presence. If you need a US datacenter, Time4VPS isn't an option. Their servers are exclusively European.

Limited advanced features. No object storage, no managed databases, no load balancers. Time4VPS is infrastructure, not a cloud platform. You get a VPS and that's it.

Control panel. It works and covers the basics, but it's not going to win any design awards. Snapshot management, backup scheduling, and network configuration are all present but buried in menus.

Support speed. During business hours, expect 1-2 hours for an initial response. Tickets filed on weekends may not get a response until Monday. This is not a 24/7 operation.

Who It's For

Time4VPS makes sense when:

• You're building for a European audience and want EU-based infrastructure
• You need KVM (not containers) with full root access
• You value transparent pricing over advanced cloud features
• You don't need 24/7 support response

It makes less sense when:

• You need US infrastructure
• You want managed services (databases, object storage)
• You need API-driven infrastructure-as-code
• Support response time is critical

Verdict

Time4VPS is a solid European VPS provider that does the basics very well at honest prices. The KVM platform, predictable performance, and EU-based datacenters make it a strong choice for European projects that don't need the complexity of major cloud providers.

The lack of US presence and advanced cloud features limits its appeal for certain use cases, but for what it is — a reliable, no-frills European VPS — it delivers.
